I went there yesterday 10/29/15 to have an EKG done on my three year old daughter. Have a two hour wait we a nurse come in, apparently the only nurse in charge, and give us a nasty attitude. When my daughter got scared from having a test done that had never been before on her and saw all wires, the nurse said she had other important people to see and a patient in the next room who was bleeding, for two hours, and walked out. What that nurse doesn't know and never bothered to asked is we have a family history of heart problems on both sides of the family, it was recently discovered that my daughters heart is skipping a beat which is why her doctor order an EKG. And they reason she is afraid of doctors is because only two weeks ago she had to have her knee drained and has been terrified of that place since. My daughter is only three and "nurse" treated her like crap because she was a crying kid. My family won't be going there again!
I have never had any problems when I have had to go down to the Urgent Care Center. Everyone is so nice to talk to and with.
This place is the biggest rip off! I can see why they didn't bother to rebuild the hospital devastated by the flood and built this place instead. First thing is if you walk-in with 5 aliments they will only treat one, and tell you to comeback again. I guess 4 more times! If your doctor happens to be in the medical center, in the same space, the entrance is not even separate anymore they will tell you to make an appointment with him. Then when you get the bill your in for a surprise especially if you have no insurance or are on medicare! Even though the TLC hospital emergency room is 11 miles away you will get a bill for an emergency room visit ( they are not equipped for real life threatening emergencies) and a doctor's bill , not just a bill for a doctor's visit. There are no signs stating this, and your not told of this before hand. Worst yet, if you stupidly choose one of their doctors as your regular doctor every time you see him or her you will get billed for a doctor's visit, and an outpatient hospital visit! Your bill and co-pay will cost quadruple as a walk in patient to TLC urgent care or triple the cost for a regular doctors visits at the medical center( same place) than it would be for you to see a doctor in a private practice and some other hospital owned practices. I got a call from TLC health the other day and they said they are no longer going to bill as an emergency room that's a start no more confusion over that. But I will wait and see if the prices change at all. For not billing as a emergency room I will give them a star back but I would make this play your last choice unless your not very mobile and are forced to go to closest place like I have been lately.
Terrible absolutely terrible don't waste your time go to a real hospital.Dr was very rude and told my wife she had a sinus infection she's currently in the hospital now for double phenomena 2 days later
